I started another bird photography tour in the Pantanal of Mato Grosso, this time with Lúcia Rogers and her niece Patrica Machado. We arrived in Cuiabá in the afternoon, and headed towards Transpantaneira. Our first stop was at an inn located right at the beginning of Transpantaneira. On the second day we explore the roads and trails inside the inn. On the third day we left the inn at 3:30 am towards Porto Jofre, at dawn we met our friend Ailton Lara, who always welcomes us so well. At 7:30 am and we went straight to the river, our objective was to see and photograph the jaguar. To our delight we managed to see a jaguar in the morning. A real show. With that we enjoy the rest of the day in the transpantaneira returning to the Pousada. We also took a boat trip along Corixo Rio Claro where we were able to see and photograph three Agami Heron.
