During the days 28 to 31 of August I set up an expedition to show some birds from the south of the state of São Paulo to the Swedish friend Mats Hildeman. In this expedition we passed through Tapiraí SP, Eldorado SP, Peruíbe SP and Itanhaém SP.
Leaving Guarulhos Airport, we went straight to Tapiraí, on the Tucanos Trail of Marcos and Patricia, an ideal place for photography and birdwatching, there are some feeders where you can photograph many cellular species that occur in Atlantic Forest . Our other stop was in Eldorado São Paulo where friends Duco and Maycon monitor some hawk nests, this time we went to see the spizaetus ornatus. Our third destination was Peruíbe SP a region that also has a very rich birdlife. A place where we are always very well received by Friends Elen and Fábio Barata. Another hawk we photographed there was the Amadonastur lacernulatus. At dusk we went to Itanhaém to see and photograph the threatened purple-faced parrot, a bird that can be complicated by the loss of habitat. See below a little of what was observed and photographed on this expedition.
