During the days 11 to 13 October 2018 I went with Cecilia and her son Fernando to the Trilha dos Tucanos , which is a fantastic place for photography and birdwatching. On the first day I stayed with them by the feeders to photograph the Saffron Toucanet, Red-breasted Toucan, leaves and the Yellow-fronted Woodpecker that at this time always appear in providing us great photos. Through the trails we could also photograph many cool birds like the Black-fronted Piping-Guan that is now being reintroduced in the Atlantic forest. The Red-ruffed Fruitcrow was another cool bird that presents itself very well when the jussara palm heart is bearing fruit. The Cinnamon-vented Piha also stands by the area of the rooms always perched on the jussara’s bunches.
