During August 18 and 19 I was on the Tucanos Trail to show some birds to Marina Berti, and to the sympathy couple Gláucia Mattos and Carlos Adilson.
It was two very nice days with them, days of many laughs.
The first day we arrived before lunch plus we still had time to do some nice photos by the feeders. We are looking forward to lunch that is undoubtedly an attraction. In the afternoon we went walking along the trails in search of some birds for the group and those who appeared for photos were the Dusky-tailed Antbird, Slaty Bristlefront, Rufous-capped Motmot, Gray-headed Tody-Flycatcher, Ochre-faced Tody-Flycatcher and the Fawn-breasted Tanager.
The next day we did some more exits through the trails and many other birds were photographed by them including the Salvadori’s Antwren, a bird with threatened status. Whoever showed up by the banana fodder was the Eira barbara Through the drinking fountains we were able to photograph several hummingbirds, among them the Brazilian Ruby, the Scale-throated Hermit, a Rufous-breasted Hermit, and the Violet-capped Woodnymph.
A pity they were only 2 days but sure other trips with this group will still be ..
2 amazing days with wonderful companies and guided by the incredible Hudson. Energies recharged.
