On March 7, 2020, I went on a birdwatching trip through the Itatiaia National Park region with Norma and her husband, a very nice couple who, in addition to the birds, also like to visit new places and try the local foods.
It was just one day, but enough for the couple to photograph many birds, some endemic.
They stayed at the Hotel Donati, a hotel over 80 years old that was built before the creation of the Itatiaia National Park.
